There are all kinds of pubs, clubs, discos, and bars that will suit any taste, it is impossible to be bored.

Bodrum has a lively, friendly Bohemian atmosphere and a large variety of art galleries. It is a renowned meeting place for the Turkish art community.

Bodrum is a town of white-washed houses, rising in tiers on a green hill overlooking a dazzling blue bay at the entrance to which stands a medieval castle built by the Knights of Rhodes. Here, where the Aegean and the Mediterranean meet, is one of Turkey's loveliest holiday resorts, with its long palm lined waterfront and its marina crowded in the summer with elegant yachts.

You would not necessarily need a car as you would be able to walk anywhere in Bodrum. To travel around the Bodrum peninsula, as to visit nearby sights and beaches and other small towns scattered around in a 20 km radius, well, you can take the 'dolmus', which is a van that carries people for a lot cheaper than taxis.

Buying a property in Bodrum would make an ideal holiday home or good investment.
